Past simple and Past continuos!!!

PAST CONTINUOS:


The past continuos indicate that an action was developing at a cert moment of the past.

It doesn't say "si" the action alredy finalized or still it continued.

The past continuos is form with the past simple of the verb to be + the main verb finished in
"-ing".



AFIRMATIVE:

I was eating in a restaurant.

You were eating in a restaurant.

He /She/ It was eating in a restaurant.

We/you/They were eating in a restaurant.



NEGATIVE:


Was I eating in a restaurant.

were you eating in arestaurant.

Was He/She/It eating in a restaurant.

were We/You/They eating in a restaurant.


INTERROGATIVE:


Was I eating in a restaurant?

Were you eating in a restaurant?

Was He/She/It eating in a restaurant?

Were /We/You/They eating in a restauran?


PAST SIMPLE:


The past simple describes u last action already finalized.

The past simple of the regular verbs is form adding "ed" to the infinitivo.

The forms negatives and interrogatives are build with the "auxiliar did".


AFIRMATIVE:



I played in a swimming pool.

You played in the swimming pool.

e/She played in the swimming pool.

It played in the swimming pool.

We played in the swimming pool.

You played in the swimming pool.

They played in the swimming pool.


NEGATIVE:

I didn't played in the swimming pool.

You didn't played in the swimming pool.

He/She/It didn't played in the swimming pool.

We/You/They didn't played in the swimming pooL.


INTERROGATIVE:

Did I played in the swimming pool?

Did You played in the swimming pool?

Did He /She/It in the swimming pool?

Did We/You/They in the swimming pool?
