ARGENTINA



Argentina is placed in america of the south, this surrounded
with countries as :Uruguay, Brazil, Chile....It has almost 40 million
inhabitants and his capital is Buenos Aires.


History:

The first settlers of Argentine are those of the age of the Paleolithic,
they were indigenous tribes who were living in la Patagonia,
la Pampa and el Chaco.
In 1527 Sancti Spiritu's fort was the first one since it had Spain in
Argentina near the city of Santa Fe.
During the reign of Carlos III of Spain, it began to form a part of the
"Virreinato del Río de la Plata. The city of Buenos Aires was proclaimed
as his capital to resist better to the Portuguese assaults and to have
an easier access to Spain across the Atlantic.

CHRISTMAS IN FONT ROMEU


Font Romeu is a village that is in the "pirineos Franceses" placed in the zone of the Canigó. It is a village placed to approximately 1800 meters of height and this one surrounded with fortresses and medieval villages.


The day 3th of Jenuary, I, carlos and the fathers went to skiing to a village in the French pirineos (FON ROMEU).We were until the 7th in the morning.
The first day up to the lunchtime carlos and me were skiing, and our parents
went to give them a walk along the snow, at the moment of eating we all stay in
a "bar" of the tracks of ski to eat.
In the evening we all went to a resort in a so called village " san Tomas".
When we come to house we were very tired and we have dinner and we went to sleeping.
The second day in the morning carlos and I returned to be going to ski and the parents went to visit a village near Font Romeu, in the evening we remain in the apartment and me "aprobeché" to do homework.
The third day we could not ski because it was snowing the whole day, in the evening we were playing to board games and after having dinner went out to give a walk along the village.
On the following morning we returned to
valencia.

WILLIAM OCKHAM


He was a Franciscan friar and philosopher English born in Ockham, a small village of Surrey, near East Horsley. As Franciscan, William was dedicated to a very poor life.


HIS LIFE:
Ockham joined the Franciscan Order being still very young and he was educated firstly in the Franciscan house of London and then in Oxford. He did not manage to end his studies in Oxford but during this time it is when he wrote the majority of philosophical works.

He was called to Aviñón by the papa Juan XXII accused of "herejía", and there I pass four years under domiciliary arrest while his educations and writings were investigated.Ockham studied the controversy between the Franciscans and the Papado on the doctrine of the apostolic poverty. Later Ockham said that the
Papa Juan XXII was a "hereje" and this opinion defended it in his work.

He died on 9th of april on 1347 in the Franciscan convent of munich for the disease of the Black Death.
